The Pharmaceutical Process Analytics Roundtable (PPAR) is an annual meeting of practitioners of Process Analytical Technology (PAT) in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. Past meetings have been hosted by Lilly, Pharmacia, Pfizer, Genentech, Amgen, Merck and Novartis. The 2010 meeting is being hosted by Vertex.
The meeting provides a chance to interact with other colleagues, discuss best practices, learn of new technologies, and identify common needs. The roundtable forum gives a group of approximately 30 participants the opportunity to discuss these important topics in a more informal environment than is generally encountered at conferences. There are no formal presentations, although participants may be asked to give a short topic introduction to kick off various discussion sessions.
